The Folk that resides in the Lilypad Stream which is now known as the [[Green Canal]] of the Crossroads. To escape the stench of the dying river, they eventually had to prop their village up on stilts, which is why these people are better known today as the sludge shnizzers. The Dulci-Loti have always had to live a hard life, it is as if the universe or fate themselves had had a grudge against them. From mass mortality from seemingly targeted hereditary illnesses to facing prosecution by large companies to the final straw of surrendering their holy waters. But someone had to put an end to this, no more Fe'irah said. No more. If their god had abandoned them... Then how wrong would it be to take matters into his own hands? How wrong was it for him to tip the scales? How wrong would it be for him to lead his people into the Eden that their god has always denied? ...How wrong would it be to trick god? The more his thoughts spiralled, the more sense it made. If fate did not intend for this to happen, then why would he still be alive after all of his sins? Why is he not yet rotting in hell, but in this mortal plane of existence? He only needed to trick the presiding judge of Sal'dier. The all-knowing and all-bearing who burnt his eyes to embrace the true weight of sin. The one to punish himself to truly ascend to the being of a judge. Fe'irah now realised, it has not been the universe that has been too cruel to his people, it was his people that were too kind to it. Fate meant for this to happen! Why else would they give the judge a daughter, only for her to be taken away too soon? She was a sweet child with an equally as sweet appetite and had a hunger for those tarts made from the seeds of a pink tipped white lotus freshly in bloom. They were said to grant you short moments of bliss, to borrow Eden's spark to light up the dark times if even for a bit. To trick the blind man and to appeal to his heart, he harvested the seeds to recreate the very same pastries known today as a "Sinner's Bargain". Fe'irah would choose their proudest warriors and grant them an escape. *Let them leave the shackles behind in the material world.* *Let them nest Eden.*
